Terror stalks Spanish California, ruthless and relentless …

A landowner’s daughter is kidnapped and believed dead. Undaunted, Don Diego de la Vega wears Zorro’s midnight black garb, and goes forth in search of the girl.

Once she is rescued, everyone believes the terrorists have been defeated. When the fanatics opt to kidnap a wealthy landowner’s son, they choose Diego as their hostage! Zorro must affect his own escape aboard a British ship, sailing toward a dreadful fate.

Zorro’s Pacific Odyssey, an original trilogy, takes “The Fox” from the California deserts, across the unforgiving Pacific, to strange challenges in an unfamiliar land!

    Zorro and the Outward Journey

Posted by Mary Lou Houck on Feb 27th 2022

I am excited to say the this first book of Susan Kite's trilogy "Zorro's Pacific Odyssey" is a wonderful read. The story is gripping from the first moments . The action is compelling and swift, the descriptions of the sea voyage and the ports are delightfully detailed, the characterizations "borrowed" from Johnston McCulley are true to the originals. Susan's depiction of Diego/Zorro would make any Zorro fan smile in recognition: he is intelligent, resourceful, principled, cunning, full of life, skillful, a man of honor, courageous, and very handsome (of course) . This personification of "The Curse of Capistrano" can stand proudly alongside its precursors, smile, laugh, and salute with the best of them!
