Heather Victoria Anderson resides in a small village near Ottawa, Canada, with her husband and two cats, a collie and a couple of shelties. Her hobbies are miniatures, gardening and training her dogs — but mostly, she says, they train her. A keen horsewoman in years past, she wrote for equine art magazines.
She has always had stories to tell, including self-published cross-over romance/mystery novels. She developed the Village Mystery series which she still enjoys writing. A voracious reader, she finds the written word “truly magical.”
Heather is an award-winning, internationally-known dog artist. She is perfectly content to have a cat or horse painting on her art table. She illustrated The Promise of Zorro herself.
“The Zorro legend has always intrigued me,” she says. “I made a point of watching and reading as many books and film/TV versions of the story as possible. The chance to write about Zorro is a dream come true.”
